Be.Tween. Adoptee Tween Summer Workshop 2013

coney03Tweens (chronologically 10 – 12 years of age, but developmentally may vary) are on the cusp of exploring independence as they become more autonomous and learn to make healthy decisions.  Being adopted adds another layer to one’s developmental process and this workshop facilitates the enhancement of self-esteem, identity development and self-awareness.  Creative projects encouraged dialogue and discussion, and sharing in a safe peer group promoted mutual growth. 2014 redux!
